Shopaholic Takes on Miss Hoe

Window Display of Miss Hoe
An eye catching window display is key to bringing in customers. I walked by Miss Hoe in Nolita and was a bit discouraged to go in because of the name. What was Miss Hoe? Who was Miss Hoe? I pushed aside all predispositions and decided to go in and browse in search of the cute giraffe and cow in the window.

It turns out Miss Hoe is none other than Abby Hoe, an independent New York based designer. Her clothes are free flowing, hippie-like, artistic, and deep with punches of color.

Clothing by Miss Hoe
An ounce of quirky can be found in her clothing and accessories. Ever dream of putting mice on your toesies? How about wearing a robot necklace? I found so many pieces at Miss Hoe to custom fit to one's unique personality. From microphone earrings to semi-hipster like sweaters, I could not help but wonder if this was the style of Lower Manhattan.

The boutique is charming and whimsical. There are items to look at everywhere and interesting displays.

Not your ordinary scarf and purse hanger
Miss Hoe is a great place to buy presents, search for one of a kind pieces, find Japanese knick-knacks, and cast a look of Nolita chic. I was pleasantly surprised with the eclecticism of the boutique. The fitting room even has a play on Alice in Wonderland with a miniature chair and striped walls. If you like details, then this is the shop for you.
